Proud mom!

This is a video I recorded of my 14 year-old son from a few months back. His music teacher wanted him to play a few selections at her church, and this is part of his audition. He played 5 songs, all about 4-5 minutes long and this was his last selection. I chose this one, because it was the only one that I didn't hear my 5 year-old whispering to me over top of the video! The woman that he auditioned for was floored, because he played all the songs from memory! It was at that moment that I realized, "yeah, he doesn't have his books with him!" I was a bit surprised too, because he always tells me he doesn't have a very good memory. I wish my memory were so poor!

It gave me chills, I could listen over and over. GOD has blessed him with his music. How lucky you are to be able to hear it daily. Patti-Ann

Thank you for the gift you just gave ME......he is fantastic! When I was a child 2 of my sisters played piano (and hated it)...my father wanted us to follow in his footsteps. I didn't have the talent to play..perfect pitch...but instruments and I just never connected....so I was able to sit back and coach others when they played "out of tune"...and quick to tell them how painful it was for me when they did "mess up"..it really was painful too.....that's why even today I thoroughly enjoy listening to someone as talented as your son...it was pure pleasure! hugs and blessings.....Debby

I am SO NOT surprised that you have a gifted son! I hated piano lessons, but it gave me an appreciation for those who played the piano well. :)
